Landscapes
"Like paintings wrapped in glass", these pieces embody the spirit, colours and textures of the unique Australian landscape. The photo-realistic and three dimensional appearance is created by building up the design on successive gathers of clear glass during the lengthy blowing process. When the picture is complete, a final encasing clear gather is taken over the cooling mass. Retaining the composition and crispness of image is an art in itself. Each "Landscape" varies in theme, design elements, colour, size and form, rendering each piece as unique as the landscape which inspires its creation.

Trees
These pieces are richly surface coloured and are blown into sections of hollow tree branches to impart the real texture of gnarled wood grain. The internal colours represent the wide variety of beautiful Australian hardwood timbers.

Primal Patterns
The inspiration for these pieces is derived from a long-standing interest in the art, language and philosophy of ancient and indigenous cultures. The area of greatest interest revolves around the universality of man's expression through the use of symbols.

Sandcast Masks
The human face has fascinated artists for many thousands of years and has been created in many mediums. These masks are sculpted into moist sand, which is then kiln dried and filled with liquid glass, ladled from the furnace, The cast glass is then combined with wood, stone or metal. Each mask is unique as the sand moulds can only be used once.
